Privacy Policy
This policy covers the personal tooling I run to publish my own videos and read my own channel statistics. It is not a product, has no users other than me, and collects nothing from visitors of this website.
Who this is about
Eren Özcan, an individual developer based in Kocaeli, Türkiye, reachable at erenozcaan@hotmail.com. The software described here runs on my own computer and acts only on accounts I own.
What the software does
It uploads finished videos I produced to my own YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts, and reads back the public and analytics statistics of those same accounts so I can track how my own content performs. Titles, descriptions and captions are written by me before anything is uploaded.
What data is accessed
- Basic account information for my own accounts (account id, channel or profile name).
- Metadata of my own posts: title, description, publish date, view, like and comment counts.
- Aggregate analytics for my own channels: views, watch time, follower gains and losses.
- OAuth access and refresh tokens issued to me for my own accounts.
No data belonging to any other person is collected. No personal data of viewers, followers or commenters is read, stored or processed. There is no advertising, profiling, or tracking of any kind.
YouTube API Services
The tooling uses YouTube API Services to upload my videos to my own channels and to read those channels' statistics. By using it I agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the data it touches is handled in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
Authorisation can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page, which immediately ends all API access. Stored YouTube data is deleted when the local files are deleted, and on request to the address above.
Where it is stored
Everything stays on a single personal computer. Tokens are held in local files that are excluded from version control; statistics are written to local files I read myself. Nothing is uploaded to a server I control, because there is no such server.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. The data is not sold, rented, transferred, published, or made available to any third party. The only network traffic is between my computer and the official APIs of Google (YouTube), Meta (Instagram) and TikTok.
How long it is kept, and how it is deleted
Statistics are kept as long as they are useful to me and can be deleted at any moment by deleting the local files. Access can be revoked at any time from Google account permissions, the Instagram app settings, or the TikTok app settings; revoking access immediately stops all further data access. To request deletion of anything related to this tooling, write to the address above.
Children
The software is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children. One of my channels publishes content made for children; that content is labelled as such on the platform, and no data about its audience is collected here.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
